Just drafted some concepts for converter app with drag-able handles to switch units.
My thoughts on Messaging app!
#1 Grid view of your online contacts. Beautiful, bleeding photos of your loved ones in lovable grid. Contact grid lights up when they need your attention.
#2 One to one conversation view. Pleasing way to read your personal messages, see call logs, see shared pictures with easy access to call and do a video call from the same screen.
#3 Hangout view of your group. Share pictures, Call group or do a hangout from the same screen. Visual cues to let you know when your shared pictures have been received.
#4 Individual message chips reveal options to Star, Forward or delete a particular message.
#5 & #6 Touching a grid item slides the conversation window for you.
#7 Add attachment allows you to add picture from gallery, camera itself or lets you record audio and send audio file.
#8 Anywhere from the conversation window, right flick gets you back to the familiar grid.
#9 Touching the phone icon on grid screen lets you decide to pick a contact from the list or lets you access dialer to place a call over VOIP.
#10 Last but not least, its incoming call screen for your VOIP calls.
